Why Do Your Labs Say “Normal” When Nothing Feels Right?

Stubborn weight. Persistent fatigue. Digestive problems. Hormonal changes. Symptoms that continue even when your routine tests look normal.

At Healife, we look at the bigger picture through functional medicine, clinical nutrition, naturopathy, and lifestyle support to understand what may be contributing to the way you feel.

A Different Way to Look at Your Health

At Healife, we start by listening to the whole story, not just looking at one symptom or one test result.

We bring together functional medicine, clinical nutrition, naturopathy, and lifestyle support to understand the different factors that may be affecting your health. Your symptoms, health history, daily nutrition, habits, sleep patterns, and stress levels all form part of that picture.

The goal is not simply to ask, “What is the problem?” It is to understand, “What may be contributing to it?”

You May Be Doing Everything Right.
So Why Do You Still Not Feel Right?

You may be eating well, staying active, and following the advice you’ve been given, yet something still doesn’t feel quite right. Maybe it’s your digestion, your weight, your energy, your hormones, or simply the feeling that your body isn’t working the way it used to.

And when routine reports keep coming back “normal,” it doesn’t mean nothing is wrong—it simply means we need to look deeper.

“I eat well,
but I’m still bloated.”

Bloating, IBS, reflux, constipation, diarrhea, food sensitivities

“I’m doing everything
right, but my weight
won’t change.”

Weight loss resistance, insulin resistance, blood sugar, cholesterol, fatty liver

“My hormones just
don’t feel right anymore.”

PCOS/PCOD, irregular cycles, PMS, hormonal symptoms, fertility, postpartum health

“My reports look normal, but I still feel exhausted.”

Thyroid concerns, fatigue, brain fog, low energy, persistent symptoms

If this sounds familiar, the next question isn’t “What should I try next?” It is: “What are we missing”

Your Partner in Root-Cause Healing

I’m Dr. Amarinder Singh, BNYS — a Naturopathy and Functional Medicine Practitioner and the founder of Healife. My work is focused on finding what’s actually driving a person’s symptoms, especially when conventional testing hasn’t found an answer yet.

Beyond Standard Testing

I bring together functional lab insights, naturopathic principles, and mind-body therapies to look at how your body’s systems connect — not just at one symptom in isolation.

Built Around You

No two people get the same plan. Yours is built around your health history, your real lifestyle, and your personal goals.

I Understand This Personally

I’ve dealt with unexplained gut issues and allergies myself. I know what it’s like to be told your tests are normal when you don’t feel normal. That’s part of why I listen the way I do.

Priya and Anuj - Fertility and hormonal journey

After Five Years of Trying, They Finally Became Parents

Priya and Anuj had been trying to conceive for five years. After working with Healife on nutrition, gut health, hormonal balance, lifestyle, and nervous system support alongside their existing medical care, they conceived naturally.

They went on to have a healthy pregnancy and welcomed their first baby. They have since conceived naturally again, recently welcoming their second child, a boy.

“For the first time, someone looked at everything, not just one piece, and really listened. The personalised support helped us make changes we could actually follow, while we continued our medical care. After five years of trying, becoming parents was something we had almost stopped hoping for.”

What happens during my first consultation?

Your first consultation is an in-depth 60-minute exploration of your health history, timeline, nutrition, daily habits, past investigations, and what you would like to improve. We use this detailed context to understand the bigger picture before deciding on practical next steps.

Will I need advanced testing?

Not necessarily. Additional investigation is suggested only when your history and symptoms indicate that it will provide clear clinical direction. We explain clearly what a test can and cannot reveal before recommending it.

Can I work with Healife while seeing my doctor?

Yes. Healife is designed to complement your existing medical care. We focus on lifestyle medicine, nutrition, digestive support, and systems biology. We do not replace your physician or advise stopping or altering prescription medication doses.

What if my reports are “normal” but I still don’t feel well?

Standard lab reference ranges are primarily designed to identify acute pathological disease. Subtle functional friction, digestive strain, or nutrient co-factor imbalances often begin long before numbers fall outside normal ranges. We evaluate your symptoms and health history together to identify what standard tests overlook.

Do I need a diagnosis before coming to Healife?

No. You can come with a confirmed health diagnosis, ongoing multi-system symptoms, or simply a persistent feeling that your body is not working as it used to. Your initial intake consultation helps map out what information is relevant and what realistic, sustainable steps make sense for your life.
